After experiencing a boot drive failure i reinstalled win 7 prof 64 bit and then installed the driver disk supplied with my motherboard (gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r) the realtek network adapter is showing that the device is not properly installed and i get a notice on the screen following startup that the driver couldn't be loaded..
